Family Lessons and Group Classes
I like to promote learning music with the whole family, so if multiple family members would like to learn together, I will tie their lessons together so they can learn alongside each other, and make music together. God designed music as something to be shared and to bring people together. I believe that a family learning music together is the perfect example of that. Having the family involved in the learning process also helps with motivation and understanding of techniques. If your family would like to have lessons together, sign up for each student individually, and then mention it with your lesson time.
Group Classes are a fun way to play with others around your level. These classes help you learn to listen, help you gain confidence, and give perspective on what the music sounds like from the audience and not just under your ear. Group classes will also offer the opportunity to play together with other students. Group classes will be hosted once a month on the weekends. The exact day and time will be determined depending on who signs up.
For little ones under the age of 5, I am offering a Mommy and Me Group Class once a week for 30 minutes. This class helps promote learning in your little one through music and movement. We will listen and sing to music, move our bodies, and use props alongside little instruments to integrate music into the world of your child wihle teaching the parents how to use music with their little one at home.
